This great vegetable oil is one of the most used carrier oils inaromatherapy massage, and this is understandable since it has afine texture, is easily absorbed, and helps to leave the skin softand satiny smooth yet it is non-greasy and easily absorbed.

Sweet almond oil is obtained from the dried kernels of thealmond tree and it is an excellent emollient (softening andsoothing to the skin) and also helps the skin to balance its lossand absorption of moisture.

It has a richconcentration of oleic and linoleic essential fatty acids, andalthough mostly used on its own as a massage carrier oil, it alsoworks well by diluting with 10% wheatgerm oil to help give it alonger shelf life.

Sweetalmond oil is one of the most popular carrier oils, since it isnon-greasy, spreads easily and also is great for nourishing theskin.
