Cinnamon essential oil is extracted from Cinnamomum zeylanicum(also known as C. verum and Laurus cinnamomum) of the Lauraceaefamily. It is also referred to as Ceylon, Madagascar, Seychelles ortrue cinnamon. This spicy essential oil has great value inaromatherapy and it fights exhaustion and a feeling of depressionand weakness. It has powerful anti-rheumatic properties, is usefulin the digestive system, while fighting colds and flu aswell. Cinnamon leaf oil, which we sell, has a warm, spicymusky smell and the oil''s color varies from yellow for the leafoil and red-brown for the bark oil, which is not usually used inaromatherapy. The viscosity is medium to watery. Cinnamon oilcan be used for infection of the respiratory tract, rheumatism,arthritis and general pains.
